Our Project: Unlike Anything Seen Before.
Watch the reversal of deforestation right from your screen. Simply click a button to create a new tree. This project will allow users to plant trees directly onto their monitors.
We are building this web-program to enhance the average persons' knowledge of Environmental Conservation. There will also be a place to make donations to charities related to conserving the environment.
We will be using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
We will be using HTML 5 and CSS 3 to create the layout and UI for users. Then to plant trees all over the screen we will use JavaScript to have them appear on the screen.
GitHub will be our Interface for Collaboration
Version history and content management are key to group coding projects. GitHub will be how we track code, make changes, and review each other's work. That will make things simpler for everyone and easier to use.
The target audience for this website is very general. Anyone who cares about the environment and wants to have some fun would love playing around on the website and watching trees grow.
We have very definable Milestones
Friday, April 3rd: We will have all of the content/verbiag done.
Friday, April 10th: We will have the UI for the site.
Friday, April 17t: This will be the JS week, "planting" the trees.
Friday, April 24th: 100% completion.
