Our goal for this project is to create a website that will help ameatur boxers promote themselves and communicate with their own community. We provide the necessary tools to those who are involved in the sport as well as the fans. In makeing this website we hope to faclitate meaningful discussions and provide some much needed publicity to those who are providing the boxing community with some amazing performances.
One of our main features is to give the boxers the option to showcase their records and matches with the world. This will include the option to give a detailed description to each of the matches that boxers might want to provide such as the location, the techncality of the outcome, and a description. In addition, we will provide a comment section to each of the matches so users may provide their inputs on the match.
Boxers will be able to create events at certain locations for the benefit of other boxers. The proposal for the events will be verfied in order to maintain the authenticity of the website. Boxers can update their status to particpating in the tournament. They can also input their information in the tournament which iincludes the weightclass, wins, agegroup, and more.
In additon, to showcasing their talents, boxer will have the option to discuss and maintain a forum on their main page and with each of their matches. This will include the ablity to upvote and downvote each comment, making it so that the community will be able to faclitate the discussions.
