Reading
I enjoy reading self-help, motivational, and other books of the sort from which I can learn to live a better, more purposeful life. I want to be an entrepreneur and build a better future, and to build a better future, one must build a better self. I want to learn all I can so I am best prepared when I venture into this risky and rewarding endeavor.

Movies
I watch movies more often than I read, usually during meals. I often stick to comedies and movies that really stimulate the imagination and creativty, so pretty much science fiction. I don't stick to those two genres of film because they're the only ones I think are good, I do it because the world is too chaotic and life is too busy to be wasting time watching dramas, horror films, or other films that don't require thinking or that surface negative emotions. Comedies bring laughter and happiness and science fiction brings creativity and imagination. Some of my favorite films include "Pulp Fiction" (Yes I'm aware it doesn't match either of my two genres mentioned previously), "Wayne's World", "Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back", "Interstellar", and "Inception".
While I watch movies I usually look them up on IMDB to check out trivia and other information such as the budget, how it's doing in the box office, filming locations, and the sound tracks used. Check out IMDB here
Table Tennis
My final hobby is one that gets me out of my room from all of the movies and reading, and allows me to not worry about anything, especially academics. Table tennis is a lot of fun, a great way to get some exercise, and a destresser for sure. I joined the table tennis club here at Mercer last semester and hope to become good enough to compete in tournaments in the near future.
